Brailsford Mill is situated on the outskirts of the village of Brailsford, midway between Derby and Ashbourne. The village has a pub, a post office, a petrol station and a school.

Proudly claiming a milling heritage dating from the time of William the Conqueror, this Grade II listed truly historic water mill offers a wonderful holiday opportunity for larger groups. The restoration has preserved the unique qualities of the building; ancient beams, narrow staircases, uneven floors, old mill wheels and flour chutes are retained - whilst adding modern amenities and comfortable and attractive furnishings to the rustic interior. In a blissfully peaceful meadowland setting, extending 10 acres upstream, this delightful property stands beside its own mill pond.
