One of the oldest buildings in Bakewell, this lovely old stone-built house has great character with few straight walls and no two rooms alike.
Croft Cottages is wonderfully located near the River Wye, in the beautiful and historic market town of Bakewell -home of the famous pudding! The town's many pubs, excellent restaurants and fascinating shops are but a two minute stroll from the house.
We are of course perfectly situated for Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, and Bakewell itself is the ideal base for walking, cycling and climbing, or just generally exploring the beautiful Peak District and its pretty, unspoilt villages.
Accommodation comprises...
"Windsor" A delightful double bedded room of character, with ensuite shower room.
"Stuart" A larger double bedded room (plus a single bed for family accommodation) with pretty and spacious ensuite shower room. "Tudor" A charming double bedded room, overlooking our lovely walled garden towards Bakewell Bridge, with its own separate, but entirely private and spacious bathroom.
"The Barn" Separate from the main house, a suite on two floors; ground floor sitting room and upstairs twin-bedded bedroom and ensuite shower room. By arrangement, you may bring your well behaved dog to stay in the Barn.

Room from £29 per person per night, The Barn from £38 per person per night, including full English breakfast. All rooms feature colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, quality toiletries, and much more.
