PEAK DISTRICT PET FRIENDLY SELF-CATERING

From tiny terraced cottages to an apartment in a former stately home, our list of Peak District Pet friendly self-catering properties is assorted and diverse, offering a wide choice of superb holiday accommodation.

For large groups of friends or extended families wanting the freedom of self-catering as well as the advantage of being able to bring along their pets, we have clusters of cottages or very large houses for that special occasion and get-together – a gathering of the clan as well as their canines!

A pet friendly self-catering property set in the Peak District hills allows you the opportunity and facilities to cook your own meals and dine in privacy whilst being away on your hols with your pet. Instead of just stocking up at the local supermarket, try out our extensive range of unique and individual shops which sell locally sourced food and ingredients – include a Derbyshire oatcake with your bacon, or drizzle Peak District cream over your Bakewell Pudding!

For those of you who wish to use their self-catering accommodation as a base to explore and enjoy the National Park, we consider our list of pet friendly properties to have plenty of choice, whilst for those requiring somewhere packed with amenities please scroll through the list below to discover games rooms and gyms, gardens and grounds as well as a host of on-site activities.

Peak District pet friendly self-catering is not just for dogs! Please always refer to the property owner, but you may be able to bring along other small pets including cats, rabbits or even the budgie. A few pet friendly properties also include stabling – imagine the delight of being able to saddle up and set off along quiet country lanes and bridlepaths transporting you over hills and dales on your beloved steed!

Self-catering cottages and converted barns are the ultimate enjoyment for a pet friendly experience down on the farm. Why not check out a quiet and unspoilt walk in spectacular National Park countryside and incorporate a pet friendly pub or inn along the way to give your taste buds a tickle!

The quality of Peak District pet friendly self-catering is second to none! Awards and accreditations have been introduced in recent years to constantly improve and upgrade accommodation to provide the highest standards. Some are at the cutting edge of environmental sustainability with the benefit of being achievers of the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark. The Green Tourism Business Scheme has also been created to reward businesses such as pet friendly self-catering providers who can prove that they are keen to reduce the carbon footprints of both themselves and their guests.

In the Peak District we do everything we can to make your stay friendly and enjoyable, to welcome your pet if possible, to provide you with serviced or self-catering accommodation, to minimise the impact of visitors to the area, but most of all to offer you the ultimate in hospitality!
